Who we are
InterviewAce is an AI interview coach at getinterviewace.com, operated by Voxel LLC, PO Box 268, Pewaukee, WI 53072, USA ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use InterviewAce, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the InterviewAce website, the web app and the emails we send. It doesn't cover third-party sites we link to.
What we collect
We collect information needed to provide and improve InterviewAce, process purchases, communicate with you, and keep the service secure.

InterviewAce does not ask you to provide sensitive personal information such as health, financial account, government identification, or other highly sensitive information. Please avoid including information you don't need for interview practice in your answers, resume, job description, or other content you provide.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Run your practice sessions: ask questions, transcribe your answers, and give you coaching, scores and retries
- Show you your progress, reports and past answers
- Process payments and manage your Job Hunt Pass or Extra Practice
- Send account and practice notices, and, only if you opted in, practice reminders and product updates
- Keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems
- Understand, in aggregate, how people use InterviewAce so we can improve it
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How AI processes your practice answers
When you answer a question, your audio is converted to text, and the text is sent to an AI model that generates your coaching. We process your practice answers only to give you feedback and show you your own progress. We don't use them for research or to train AI models.
Our coaching provider, Anthropic, processes your answers, job details and resume under its commercial terms, which don't permit using them to train its models. Our speech provider, Deepgram, is set to neither keep nor train on your audio, your transcripts, or the coaching it reads aloud to you. If you practice on a computer, your browser's built-in speech recognition may send your audio to the company that makes your browser (Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge, Apple for Safari), which handles it under its own terms.
AI feedback can be wrong. Treat it as coaching, not a guarantee of how an interviewer will judge you.
Who we share it with
We disclose personal information to service providers that help us operate InterviewAce, as described below. We require them to process information for the services they provide to us, subject to their applicable contractual and data-processing terms.

We store and process your information in the United States.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Email and your choices
We send two kinds of email, and you control each one separately.
- Service and account communications: things like your welcome email, session scores and Pass expiry reminders. You can turn these off.
- Practice reminders and product updates: sent only if you said yes, at signup or later in the app. You can change your mind anytime.
To change either one:
- Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email. It works in one click, with no login.
- Or go to Profile in the app and use the two email switches.
We record each choice with the date and the wording you saw, so we can honor it. Receipts for purchases are sent regardless, because they confirm a transaction you made.
Cookies, analytics and Do Not Track
We use cookies and similar storage for two reasons:
- Essential: to keep you signed in and keep your session secure. The app doesn't work without these.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use InterviewAce, such as which pages and features are used and general traffic patterns. Google Analytics may collect device, browser, usage, and approximate location information. You can block it with your browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on.
We don't use advertising cookies, ad pixels or remarketing tags.
California Do Not Track disclosures: Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We use Google Analytics as described above. Third-party service providers may collect information through our site as described in "Who we share it with." We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Keeping, deleting and accessing your information
How long we keep it: we keep your account and practice data while your account is open, so you can see your progress. When you delete your account, we delete your account and practice data from our active systems within 30 days of your request, except information we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting or security purposes. Copies may remain in our backups for up to 8 days before they age out. We keep purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your requests: you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of your personal information
- Correct information that's wrong
- Delete your account and practice data
There's no delete button in the app yet. Email hello@getinterviewace.com from the address on your account. We'll confirm it's you and respond within 30 days. When we delete your account, we also ask our payment and email providers to delete your customer records, except what they must keep by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Security
Every connection to and from InterviewAce is encrypted (HTTPS). We also use access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Children
InterviewAce is for job seekers and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it as required by law. If you believe a child has given us information, email us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, such as a new use of your practice answers, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect, and we'll ask for your consent where the law requires it.
